An update on Randy for you guys, his fever is down (was 103.5 now it's 101.9 which is within normal range for dogs) and he is eating again! I get to take him home in like an hour! Thanks for all of you thoughts and well wishes!
Seems like I am only coming on here to report bad news, and for that I apologize, but. I had to take my puppy Randy to the vet today. He hadn't eaten since Tuesday morning, he has been acting lethargic, snorting a lot more, runny nose, hes whining and shacking a bit.
So I called the vet in the morning and got him the first appointment that I could. I came in and they did some blood work, didn't see anything, they said he has a fever so they know that something is wrong. They wanted to run more tests so I allowed him to stay the day, be observed, be given general antibiotics, fluids, stuff to make his fever down, stop him from possibly feeling nauseous and spark is appetite.
They said he wasn't in immediate danger, but I mean, when I said he won't eat, he wouldn't even lick the peanut butter off of the vets finger. He loves to eat, so I am worried.

I'm so moving on yeah yeah

So, I saw Thor: Dark World last night. No spoilers, I promise. I just want to say that I really enjoyed the film. I can't say that it was high art, but the film was well acted (especially Tom Hiddleston, he is a very nuanced actor which I really appreciate), and I was always entertained. I was never bored during the film, lots of times these movies have like 15 minute action sequences where you by less than half way through you are sick of the fighting and want to see something else (Kit calls it "disaster porn" like what we saw in Superman: Man of Steel). But the fighting in this movie was really broken up with humorous moments, and I laughed a lot more than I expected to.
Ok, so now I will tell you why I will never be a Thor fan. First, he is Marvel's Superman, and I do not like Superman (though I do like Thor a bit more than Superman, and that it probably just because he is Chris Helmsworth). He is an Alien, he is too perfect, he doesn't really have flaws he isn't vulnerable and has no real weakness. The thing is he is not rooted and reality and doesn't seem real, which leads me to my second reason I will never be a Thor fan, too much fantasy. Fantasy with you super hero is all well in good if you are into that sort of thing, but I prefer my heroes to be grounded, have conflict that is both super and normal everyday stuff that we all focus on, I want my hero to live in my world.
That being said, I enjoyed the movie, and Thor is alright, he will just never be up there in my hero list.

Strike up the band

I was told that I was cool for the first time in my life yesterday. It was my boyfriend who said it, but still, nice to hear :0)

Sticky Post

I have a lot of public entries, so things are only semi friends only. But the open entries are definitely not my juiciest. So if you want to get to anything exceptionally personal, you must be a friend. If I have randomly commented on one of your entries feel free to go ahead and add me, otherwise please leave a comment; I am always open to new friends.

You're just too good to be true.

Is it so fucking hard for someone to return an e-mail? Even if it is just replying "ok" just so I know you received the e-mail, that you read it and understand its contents? How many seconds does it take to do that huh? Too fucking many for you? Goddammit.
In your life some people will like you, some will not. Dealing with the emotions associated with those who don't like you when you like them perfectly fine is one of the hardest things I deal with in my life.
Every time my dad, I am always afraid he wants something from me...cause usually he does.
I got an audition notice for a casting for a sitcom pilot yesterday. There are two parts that fit my age range, and that is really the only info I have on the characters. I need a monologue from a movie or television show for the audition, I am thinking of going. Kit is encouraging me too, and I don't want to let him down. I don't have much experience with film, but I am glad that someone is supporting me and telling me to take a chance.
So, any suggestions of monologues I could use? Or even just good movies and television shows to look for a monologue from? Any thoughts are appreciated.
